On September 14, at the North Glenora Community League Hall, the Ghana Friendship Association of Edmonton organized an enriching cultural session on Ghana heritage and history with students of Ghanaian heritage in Edmonton.
The best students won prizes as a way to encourage and motivate them after answering questions correctly on Ghana culture, arts, politics, and history.
It was an event worthy of building a sense of identity, belonging, and pride in our young people, in a very multicultural world, where their sense of heritage and pride is shaky.
Le 14 septembre, à la salle de la North Glenora Community League, l’Association d’Amitié Ghanaienne d’Edmonton a organisé une séance culturelle enrichissante sur le patrimoine et l’histoire du Ghana avec des étudiants d’origine ghanéenne à Edmonton.
Les meilleurs étudiants ont remporté des prix afin de les encourager et de les motiver après avoir répondu correctement à des questions sur la culture, les arts, la politique et l’histoire du Ghana.
C’était un événement propice à renforcer un sentiment d’identité, d’appartenance et de fierté chez nos jeunes, dans un monde très multiculturel où leur sentiment d’héritage et de fierté est fragile.
