Diversity Magazine Media Kit

Who we are as Diversity Magazine: Diversity Magazine is a platform to connect, share, and distribute content in the form of text, photos and videos, fliers, ads, events, festivals, arts, touristic information, and stories, collected by Diversity staff, community members, businesses, non-profits, and government announcements so as to inspire, empower, promote, inform, educate, and share untold stories in Alberta and across Canada.

One out of every three Alberta was born out of Alberta, a province of over four million people. The largest ethno-cultural communities in Alberta are: Chinese, Indians, Blacks, Filipinos, indigenous, Europeans, Hispanics, and Arabs. Diversity Magazine strives to build an environment where 300+ communities from all backgrounds, races, ethnicity, genders, complexions, and cultures, can live and work in harmony. This is being done through weekly Diversity Online, a quarterly print glossy full colour magazine, and a weekly Diversity TV Community Newscast online TV in English and French, and daily updated social media pages.

Diversity tell stories through text, photos, and most recently, through videos online. We are expanding our diverse tentacles by covering communities in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Toronto, and across Alberta and Ontario.

History: It all started in 2010 with Afro-Trade Show, and evolved to Afro-Canadian Magazine in 2012 when we came up with a way to take the trade shows to those who could not attend on paper, Afro-Canadian Magazine was born. Diversity Magazine was launched in 2014 after increased interest from the greater Edmonton community in Afro-Canadian Magazine. Diversity Magazine is currently produced every four months in glossy print and weekly online sent to emails and actively promoted on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, Tik Tok, Youtube, and other social media platforms. Diversity TV channel on Youtube is our new online video platform to share our content in videos weekly.
