On April 6, 2019, Multicultural Gala Spring Fair expanded from its Indian and Pakistani base to bring in exciting performances from other communities, such as; African, Caribbean, Russian, and many more.  The event organized by Muneeza Gulnaaz, owner of Daz Collections, took place at  the Pakistan Canadian Association of Edmonton (PCAE) Hall. The Fair has become a great platform to showcase women entrepreneurs in Edmonton.

A henna artist, a photo booth, multiple food vendors, a jewelry booth, a fashion stall, all graced the event, but the highlight of this year’s Spring Fair was the introduction of the anti racism panel that discussed on issues facing the multicultural communities such as racism. Panelist for the Anti Racism Panel includes; Sadia Sameeullah (Social Worker), Nigel Logan (Community Organizer), and Raj Verna (Financial Analyst). Muneeza told Diversity Magazine that the anti racism panel will be a permanent fixture in future Multicultural Gala and Spring Fairs. The next one is scheduled for November 2019.
