On September 14, 2019, at the ACCA Banquet Hall, a very inspiring, and frank conversation took place about the past, present, and the future of people of African descent. This discussion was brought to light through a five-member panel moderated by Miriam Chimanga at the launch of her Talk Show Documentary called “Fuse in who am I”. The show host and founder Miriam Chimanga promised to keep on the discussions monthly and shares this summary below with you all:

“Fuse in who am I talk show & Documentary
We are honored to introduce to you our initiative, “FuSe In – Who am I”. The objective of the initiative is to unify and embrace our African descent through medium of uncomfortable and effective conversations. This is an effort to ignite a conversation that addresses the identity and intercultural communication that must happen among people of the African descent residing in the diaspora. A forum of truth and reconciliation with participants from the African descent backgrounds, (Afro Brazilian, African Americans, Caribbeans and African immigrants).

We are confident that the “FuSe In – Who am I” conversations will bring an identity awareness, a sense of belonging to the youth in our communities, an awareness we believe is in line with the work of empowering and advancing the African diaspora both economically and education of the history of Africa”.
