The new conversation cooking up today is if WHITE lives matter, or if WHITE folks also get horrible treatment from bad cops or people in power.
The answer is certainly YES and YES but to a lesser extent compared to BLACKS who have been getting the worst for ever, with little to no punitive action from the authorities, the reason why BLACK Lives Matter is loudest today more than ever.
WHITE Lives Matter is certainly racist in tone and for WHITE and BLACK people who say it is borne out of fear of loosing opportunities from their WHITE contacts. WHITES who say WHITE Lives Matter is out of shared guilt, hatred, or ignorance because BLACK Lives Matter doesn’t mean other lives don’t matter. It simply mean BLACK lives haven’t mattered for far too long. So please help us make it MATTER. My dear that is all we ask for.
People say BLACK Lives Matter as a way to literally beg for the lives of BLACK people from those who have the power to take it away. By the way, do BLACKS even have the power to take away lives? The persons with the power to take away lives have the responsibility to make BLACK lives like every others matter. That’s all we ask for my friend.
You know what also matter? BLACK empowerment! BLACK ambition! BLACK prosperity! BLACK allies who risk their relationships and wellbeing to support BLACKS, stand for the truth and justice in the world.
We can find cases everyday of bad police officers’ violence on others to support the point that BLACK Lives doesn’t really matter or systemic racism don’t exist, but we all know the truth deep in our hearts. Sadly the truth will always prevail.
BLACKS have come a long way and have a long way to go and they will eventually prevail, from the darkness of slavery to the most powerful positions in the world.
It’s hard to suppress people for ever. There will come a day that the will be change and today most people have come to terms with that reality.
