It’s a park famous for its spectacular turquoise blue-green lakes, pointed extensive mountain peaks making part of the Canadian Rockies, and endless outdoor fun adventures such as hiking and canoeing.

One of the best known lakes of the Banff National Park is the uniquely beautiful Lake Louise.

Named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the daughter of Queen Victoria, Lake Louise is arguably one of the natural wonders of the world for its eye-catching turquoise blue-green waters, mountain peak skyline with a patch of snow to elevate the stunning view to a wonder that draws millions from across the world to appreciate its beauty in the summer.If Lake Louise was in the ancient Roman Empire, it will be the goddess of beauty and splendour, but in 2020, millions of people will not bring gifts and venerate before it, but worship its beauty with photos and enjoy its associated benefits right here in Alberta.

The breathtaking beauties of the Banff National Park is worthy of celebration, but even more worthy of note are the impacts downstream of its rivers such as the Bow River, an impressive sight on the way to the park, beautifying the towns downstream with its colourful waters, shallow nature, and occasional rapids and falls in the town of Banff and Canmore, as well as, at the revered Fort Calgary in the City of Calgary where the Bow River swallows the Elbow.
