“BDC has an option to lend money to newcomers starting a business in Canada…,” an exciting information from a business event organized by AJFAS.

AJFAS (L’Alliance Jeunesse-Famille de l’Alberta Society Décerne) celebrates 20 years of community service in the Black Francophone Community by handing out awards to community leaders and entrepreneurs.

One of many Black History Month events organized by AJFAS this year, the virtual event took place on February 27, 2021, spiced up with presentations such as the one on financing your business by Senay Yemane from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).

A beautiful musical performance by the talented Tabitha Tshibula almost ran away with the show before the highlight of the day – awards.
