Meet Dr. Emmanuel Mbobda, a Pharmacist and pharmacologist based in Calgary. He is a Co-Founder of Happy Scent & Happy Biopharma Inc., a company that runs on this principle, “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure“.
Well, when cure is the only way out, Dr. Mbobda is up to the challenge. Some years ago, his teenage daughter was troubled with face acne.
She went to him for a solution. As someone who has been finding health solutions for everyone else, in different parts of the world, now it was time to turn his expertise homewards. After some months, he developed a cream that helped to get t his daughter’s face back to its original beauty.
Fast forward to today, their company has 14 health products in different stores and pharmacies across Alberta, and expanding, most of which are Health Canada approved, and all natural products. This is in line with the two main goals of their company, Happy Biopharma: to provide people with effective, science-based natural therapeutic medicine to avoid sole reliance on pharmaceutical medication; and to provide people with premium natural medicine.
Dr. Mbobda holds a pharmacy degree, major in Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy, a graduate from the University of Perugia –Italy. After years in Cancer research at DKFZ (German cancer research center), Dr. Mbobda is back to pharmacy; supporting patients’ needs, solving different health problems, from nutrition to weight management, depression and cardiovascular health.
