It’s an eye catchy sunset experience at the Bowness Park in Calgary!
Last week on Diversity Travel, we shared the wonderful experience of a visit to the magnificent Louise McKinney Riverfront Park in Edmonton.
Next week, we will spice up Diversity Travel with natural wonders in Lethbridge, but today, we’re keeping you beside another river, in the twin natural wonders in Calgary – two of the most beautiful parks you can imagine; Bowness and Baker parks, separated from each other by the colourful Bow River.
Bowness Park is a 30-hectare urban park on the Bow River in Bowness, a neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary.
On the other side of Bowness Park, across the turquoise-coloured Bow River, is the Baker Park, a 12-hectare urban park in the west edge of Calgary.
The scenic nature of these parks make them good locations for weddings, other beauty-seeking, and fun events. Looking for a place in Calgary to spend a wonderful time with family and friends, then look no further.
