Diversity Magazine Red Deer Correspondent, Keri-Lynn Gibbs captured this wonderful story of the first-ever Muslim gathering in Red Deer, on April 29 for their First Annual Iftar held at the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer.
A number of guests and celebrants were in attendance for this event organized by the Al Furqan Learning Centre.
Celebrant Zenaib Mahmoud explained: “It’s nice to come together at the end of Ramadan to catch up with old friends, especially with the pandemic keeping us from gathering for so long”.
