We begin this newscast in Calgary with the announcement of changes to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) on January 18, that it will increase opportunities for international, high-demand workers with close relatives in Alberta to fill those vacancies.

On a stop in Red Deer, on the same January 18, at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in Red Deer, Red Deer-South MLA, Jason Stephan, with the support of Red Deer Mayor, Ken Johnston, hosted and presented 20 Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals to champions of various deciplines in Red Deer.

Zainab Mohamoud, Guy Pelletier, Rick More, and Queen Schaefer, shared their excitement with Diversity Magazine.

And back in Edmonton, on January 14, at the Maharaja Banquet Hall Maharaja Banquet Hall, in Edmonton, Infinity Safety Awareness, hosted a workshop on  Unpacking Racism. The panelists included; Judi Malone, Candy Khan, Manwar Khan, Ruby Malik, and Fahad Mughal.

Débutons ce bulletin d’ information communautaire à Calgary avec l’annonce de changements au Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) le 18 janvier, afin qu’il augmente les possibilités pour les travailleurs internationaux à forte demande ayant des membres de famille en Alberta de combler ces postes vacants.

Ce même 18 janvier, au Alberta Sports Hall of Fame à Red Deer, le député de Red Deer-Sud, Jason Stephan, avec l’appui du maire de Red Deer, Ken Johnston, a organisé et remis 20 médailles du Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee à des champions de diverses disciplines à Red Deer.Zainab Mohamoud, Guy Pelletier, Rick More et Queen Schaefer ont partagé leur enthousiasme avec Diversity Magazine.

De retour à Edmonton, le 14 janvier, au Maharaja Banquet Hall Maharaja Banquet Hall, à Edmonton, Infinity Safety Awareness, a organisé un atelier au theme Unpacking Racism. Les panélistes comprenaient ; Judi Malone, Candy Khan, Manwar Khan, Ruby Malik et Fahad Mughal.
