A big thanks to Calgary for supporting the first edition of Afro Caribbean Festival YYC. A big thanks to the volunteers, performers, vendors, MCs, DJs, contractors, models, The City of Calgary, Calgary Foundation, The Oladele Foundation, and the community who came out to support. It was an amazing experience of the rich and colourful Afro Caribbean culture; from the exciting flag parade, through the delicious food, entertaining performances, and fabulous fashion show, to amazing art and craft market – thank you, thank you, and thank you once again…! See you next year for an even more amazing Afro Caribbean Festival YYC 2026. Our next project in Calgary is the Afro Caribbean (AC) Award 2025 with nominations opening soon… See ya…!

Un grand merci aux bénévoles, artistes, vendeurs, maîtres de cérémonie, DJs, entrepreneurs, mannequins, à la Ville de Calgary, à la Calgary Foundation, à The Oladele Foundation, et à toute la communauté qui est venue soutenir l’événement.
Ce fut une expérience incroyable mettant en valeur la riche et colorée culture afro-caribéenne : du passionnant défilé de drapeaux, aux délicieuses saveurs culinaires, en passant par les spectacles divertissants et le fabuleux défilé de mode, jusqu’au marché d’art et d’artisanat exceptionnel — merci, merci, et merci encore…!
