March 25 in Calgary witnessed a Women’s Day Celebration focused on, A Chat with the First Female Mayor of Calgary.
Our Calgary-based Diversity Magazine Ambassador, Amaka Adindu was present at the event which took place at the Riviera Plaza and Conference Centre, Calgary Airport.
The host, Bukola Ojemakinde and Mayor Jyoti Gondek discussed Gender Equity, Antiracism, Mental Heath, Work life balance and more.
The Mayor also took questions from the audience. The event was also spiced with networking, friendships, peer-peer support, refreshments, and music.
