It is often said any disappointment is a blessing proved true as 150 families in Liberia benefited as Sr. Pastor Augustine Glory Blamo of The Solid Rock International Ministries of Edmonton, stuck in Liberia, unable to fly back to Edmonton after his vacation due to the lockdown.

What best to keep busy with for a man of God – charity work. With the help of his congregation back in Edmonton, he was able to raise funds to help needy Liberians as a result of the Coronavirus lock down. 150 families benefited from the generosity of a church known for its charity work in Edmonton and in Liberia and neighbouring Sierra Leone.

Families had bags of rice, and gallons oil to help them wrestle the hash African lock down with no food provided to the poor. Eli Jones, the Church Administrator told Diversity Magazine that they expect the charity work to continue until the end of the lock down.
