A Summary of Black History Month 2023 in Fort McMurray.
Lots of events took place, captured beautifully by Diversity Magazine Brand Ambassador in Fort McMurray, Mireille Zatcha.
At Ecole St Paul School, Black History Month was celebrated with Councillor Funky Banjoko as special guest on Feb 16th at Ecole St. Paul School, 429 Ross Haven Dr in Fort McMurray.
On March 18, the Black History Month Cultural Extragavanza organized by Rehoboth Alliance took place with Funky Banjoko as Guest speaker at the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts- Holy Trinity High School in Fort McMurray.
On March 24, the Black History Banquet and Awards Night, took place at the Shell Place in Fort McMurray with Dr Wanda Costen and Funky Banjoko as guest speakers.
Black History Month was also celebrated at Ecole Boréale with guest Funky Banjoko, on February 27th at Ecole Boréale in Abasand, Fort McMurray.
