Dans le cadre du Mois de l’Histoire des Noirs, Le Centre de bien-être et de prévention / Wellness and Prevention Centre vous invite à un événement incontournable. Cet atelier a pour but d’améliorer la connaissance des membres de la communauté afro-canadienne sur le système de santé albertain et d’encourager l’utilisation de tous les services de santé à leur disposition.

L’événement aura lieu le samedi 22 février 2025 à la Dalhousie Community Association, située au 5432 Dalhart Road NW, Calgary, AB, T3A 1V6. Nous vous accueillerons à partir de 14h00.

Cet atelier abordera des sujets clés concernant l’accès aux soins de santé, les ressources disponibles, ainsi que les droits et responsabilités des patients au sein du système de santé albertain. C’est une occasion unique de mieux comprendre les services de santé et de renforcer notre communauté en matière de bien-être et de prévention.

The Afro-Canadian Community and the Alberta Healthcare System

As part of Black History Month, the Wellness and Prevention Centre invites you to a must-attend event. This workshop is designed to enhance the Afro-Canadian community’s understanding of the Alberta healthcare system and encourage the use of all available health services.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Dalhousie Community Association, located at 5432 Dalhart Road NW, Calgary, AB, T3A 1V6. Doors will open at 2:00 PM.

During this workshop, we will discuss key topics such as access to healthcare, available resources, and patients’ rights and responsibilities within the Alberta healthcare system. This is a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of health services and empower our community in wellness and prevention.
