It was windy, but neither cold nor warm in the over 11 square kilometres urban park in the great city of Calgary.

As the weather takes a break from summer, so too is my need for a break from my busy day full of interviews in Calgary. A walk in the park seems to be an attractive option before it gets too cold outside.

What better park than one of the largest urban parks around, the Nose Hill Park in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, the fourth-largest urban park in Canada. A municipal park created in 1980, the Nose Hill Park is endowed with a long stretch of grassland, treed areas, wild animals, hills, and valleys.

At the peak, it’s possibly to catch glimpses of the Rocky Mountain, a view of downtown Calgary, and many other parts of the city.

Welcome to the great city of Calgary!
