Is it sunset on mask wearing resistance in Edmonton?

By the way, today is last day to get on Diversity Magazine Print for August!

President Trump now wears a mask.Last Sunday, Premier Kenney was spotted with a mask at an event in Red Deer, Alberta.President Trump who said wearing mask is a sign of weakness is now asking Americans to wear masks, sharing the protection it provides.

Oh! Yes I mean President Trump!

Yesterday, Calgary passes a bylaw requiring people to wear masks in all indoor public buildings and vehicles in the city.

On the same day, Alberta Education announced the return to school this Fall with no mandatory mask wearing in schools, not even in the perimeter of the school or among the staff and visitors.

Major US retailers, cities, states, some Canadian provinces, have made mask mandatory in indoors public spaces. Some people have just decided to stay away due to the risk of people not wearing masks.

“Masks should definitely become mandatory. If people won’t wear a mask stay home. I am a senior who has not been in a grocery or any other public establishment since Feb. Do you have the right to deprive me of my freedoms?” Gloria Stephenson commented on Facebook.

At a time when Alberta COVID-19 cases are on the rise, should Alberta or major cities like Edmonton follow the footstep of Calgary to make mask mandatory?
