A new “weapon” has arrived on the war on the Coronavirus pandemic.
It’s a black face – Dr. Stella Immanuel.
An outspoken doctor in Houston, Texas, USA, who has been prescribing hydroxychloroquine to her patients with good results, she says.
No one is yet to debunked any of her claims.
Her religious beliefs has been attacked vigorously and she has been called Trump’s doctor by so many media outlets.
Hydroxychloroquine has long been used to treat malaria, as well as, other conditions such as lupus and arthritis.
Trials around the world were temporarily derailed when a study published in The Lancet claimed the drug increased fatalities and heart problems in some patients. However, The Lancet subsequently retracted the study. WHO and others have resumed their trials with no results yet.
Some early studies raised hopes of a potential cure in France and in China.
One subsequent larger scale trial by Oxford University has shown it’s not effective as a treatment for COVID-19.
Other studies have looked at using the drugs as a preventative measure against Covid-19. Professor Sir Nick White, who’s leading an Oxford University trial, said, “Most experts agree there is a much better chance of benefit in prevention than treatment”.
People have promoted violence, racism, and much worst, but they have not been penalized by social media platforms or attacked as vigorously as those saying hydroxychloroquine does have a positive effect on their patients. Is there more to this than meets the eye?
