A couple of weeks ago, I went to the Apple Store in West Edmonton Mall, there was a long line outside waiting for people inside to make way for them so as to comply with Alberta Health regulations limiting number of people in a store to ensure social distancing. The security guard took my temperature and gave me a mask and sprayed some hand sanitizer on my palms.
Wow! The Coronavirus Pandemic has changed the way businesses operate.
Last weekend I went to visit some businesses on the multicultural 118 Avenue in Edmonton to share about the opportunities that our Africanival Virtual Fest brings to help them sell their products online with delivery service available on the day of the Fest, August 8, 2020.
I also asked if they have made used of the different government grants to support small businesses get back on their feet. I realized that some didn’t know about the grants.
