On the vibrant Saturday of February 24, 2024, Sinkunia Community orchestrated a dynamic celebration of Black History Month within the walls of their offices, taking the spotlight as the youth of the association hosted the event.
From the charismatic Emcee to the captivating performances, the occasion provided a platform for the youth to radiate brilliance and showcase their talents, all while capturing the admiration of their elder counterparts.
This year’s theme, unveiled by the association, resonated with profound significance: “I am my ancestors’ Wildest dream.” It set the stage for a spirited poetry competition among the younger participants, creating an atmosphere where their voices echoed the dreams of those who came before them.
The event was further enriched by animated traditional dances, culminating in a cultural feast that showcased the diverse heritage embraced by the community.

Le samedi dynamique du 24 février 2024, la Communauté Sinkunia a orchestré une célébration dynamique du Mois de l’histoire des Noirs au sein de leurs bureaux, mettant en lumière la jeunesse de l’association qui a animé l’événement.
De l’animateur charismatique aux performances captivantes, l’occasion a fourni une plateforme à la jeunesse pour rayonner de brillance et montrer leurs talents, tout en capturant l’admiration de leurs aînés.
Le thème de cette année, dévoilé par l’association, résonnait d’une signification profonde : “Je suis le rêve le plus fou de mes ancêtres.” Il a créé le cadre d’un concours de poésie animé parmi les jeunes participants, instaurant une atmosphère où leurs voix faisaient écho aux rêves de ceux qui les ont précédés.
L’événement a été enrichi par des danses traditionnelles animées, aboutissant à un festin culturel mettant en valeur l’héritage diversifié embrassé par la communauté.
