The police officer who squeezed the neck of the unarmed George Floyd into the world beyond has been placed on suicide watch, I guess trying to avoid the dance that he made another person dance, well, if at all.
In these critical times, we look up to the leaders to inspire, motivate, support, and reassure their people that there’s still a better tomorrow. Diversity Magazine has shared messages from the prime minister, premier, opposition. mayor, and will keep sharing and expand the messages to everyone who so wish to share.
We have not heard yet from the BLACK community members in Alberta, those who have a knee on their neck regularly and worry about the world they will pass on to their kids – how many knees will be on the neck of their kids.
Well, today, we will be sharing messages from community members in video and text. Most importantly, we want to hear from you our lovely supporters.
The obvious question of the day is: What is your own message to the community?
