“We can’t breathe, we need a new parliament,” protesters in Lebanon inspired by BLACK Lives Matter protest across the world, called for a new parliament.

Countries in Africa with police barbarism on a Hitler scale were also inspired to get on the streets in Kenya and South Africa to call for an end to police barbarism.

Last Sunday on a walk down 100 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a loud uncomfortable noise hit me from a man in distressed. He got my attention with the words, “BLACK Lives Matter…they are beating me because I’m BLACK,” I turned around and saw him on the ground, in front of a pub surrounded and being beaten by a group.

He’s not BLACK for sure, but he used BLACK Lives Matter to make a point, that I’m down, please give me a hand. For which I intervened and got him out of the beating. The Canada NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh too was inspired by BLACK Lives Matter protest to put a motion to tackle systemic racism in Canada.

BLACK Lives Matter has become the hand to the oppressed and the courage to take that next steps that you have been procrastinating.

The question of the day is, what is that next steps that you have been dragging your foot on?

Have a very good day and stay turned to Diversity Flash for June 23, 2020, and a video summary at the end of the day on Diversity TV on Facebook, and Diversity TV YouTube Channel as we sail through another bright and sunny day in Edmonton and Calgary.
