The Mexican Society of Edmonton works to serve the Mexican community in the city by:
- Advancing cultural education by providing workshops and cultural programs to enrich the lives of Edmontonians and all Albertans.
Our Dream is to be able to;
- providing transitional housing for temporary foreign workers by establishing and maintaining a housing facility, and
- establish and maintain a Cultural Centre to be the focal point for community activities while becoming a premier venue offering an environment for cultural activities, arts, and recreational programs to the public.
The Mexican Cultural Society of Edmonton has it’s roods in Edmonton since 1997 when it was originally registered; however, not all those years have being formally registered. In 2019 a collaborative effort was made to bring it back and set the foundations for a longer standing organization acknowledging the original rots.
