Today, April 5, 2018, at Edmonton City Hall, Edmonton joins the Sikh Community in celebrating Vaisakhi, the anniversary of the birth of the Khalsa. Organized by Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education and Action, Vaisakhi is the festival which celebrates the founding of the Sikh community known as the Khalsa. It is celebrated on April 14 each year.
