Edmonton Police Service pens a letter today to support the Muslim community at Al Rashid Mosque in Edmonton during this holy month of Ramadan after a video appeared online targeting Muslims for violating COVID-19 physical distancing rules.
“…we will continue to work in partnership to build safer and healthier communities…,” Sgt. Gary Willits, Hate Crime and Violent Extremism Unit of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS).
The letter also called for the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour by calling the number, 780.423.4567.
