ENFAD Launches to Amplify Francophone African Voices in Alberta Arts….

AJFAS officially launched its new initiative “Together, Let’s Make a Difference (ENFAD)” on Thursday, December 4 at the Alberta Visual Arts Centre (CAVA) in Edmonton. The project focuses on mobilizing and promoting the participation of French-speaking people of African descent within Alberta’s arts and cultural landscape.

ENFAD brings together several key provincial partners: the Alberta Francophone Artists Network (RAFA), the Alberta Visual Arts Centre (CAVA), the Music Development Centre (CDM), and UniThéâtre.

The launch highlighted a collective commitment to building an inclusive artistic framework, encouraging greater collaboration, representation, and visibility of African-French-speaking talent. AJFAS expressed appreciation to all who attended and invited ongoing support as the project unfolds over the coming year.

L’AJFAS a officiellement lancé sa nouvelle initiative « Ensemble, Facilitons la Différence (ENFAD) » le jeudi 4 décembre au Centre d’arts visuels de l’Alberta (CAVA) à Edmonton. Ce projet vise à mobiliser et à promouvoir la participation des personnes d’ascendance africaine francophones au sein du paysage artistique et culturel de l’Alberta.

ENFAD rassemble plusieurs partenaires provinciaux clés : le Réseau des artistes francophones de l’Alberta (RAFA), le Centre d’arts visuels (CAVA), le Centre de développement musical (CDM) et l’UniThéâtre.

Le lancement a mis en avant un engagement collectif envers la création d’un cadre artistique inclusif, favorisant une plus grande collaboration, représentation et visibilité des talents africains francophones. L’AJFAS a exprimé sa gratitude envers les personnes présentes et a invité à soutenir le projet tout au long de l’année à venir.
