On Friday, May 31st, 2024, the Face Coalition, with the participation of Africa Centre, hosted an informative and engaging session on funding business aspirations at The Kahanoff Building Centre in Calgary. The event aimed to delve into the Black business landscape, exploring various grant opportunities and explaining how to create a robust business platform.
When the Face Coalition began, it was a small team of just 15 members. Today, they have grown to a dedicated staff of 50, all committed to their mission of driving generational wealth through sustainable economic resources, capacity building, and strategic partnerships.
The Africa Centre played a crucial role in this initiative, employing experts to assist participants with their business plans and documentation needs. This collaboration is a testament to their shared goal of empowering Black entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth within the community.
