On September 13, 2025, families gathered the sidewalks outside the Calgary African Community Collective for the Hands Lifting Hearts Families Annual Mental Health Walk. Parents, caregivers, advocates, and even babies in strollers joined together under the theme “healing happens in motion.” The walk highlighted the strength of community—where movement sparked conversations, laughter built connections, and every step reinforced the importance of supporting mental health as a family.Le 13 septembre 2025, des familles se sont rassemblées sur les trottoirs devant le Calgary African Community Collective pour la Marche annuelle pour la santé mentale des familles Hands Lifting Hearts. Parents, aidants, défenseurs et même bébés en poussettes se sont unis sous le thème « la guérison se fait en mouvement ». La marche a mis en valeur la force de la communauté — où le mouvement a suscité des conversations, le rire a créé des liens, et chaque pas a souligné l’importance de soutenir la santé mentale en famille.
