Due to interest in our first ever Women’s Day Special list for the Black community in Alberta, we’ve now published an expanded version of Diversity Magazine final list of Women’s Day Special 2021.

It includes 24 women across Alberta from all race, profession, interest, passion, background, career, and what have you.

Most of the women on our list have to wrestle with the pressures of being a mom, a wife, a daughter, a serial volunteer, and still squeeze time to do amazing things in building community, in business, in non-profit, in arts, in academics, activism on issues that matter to their community, volunteerism, healthcare, politics, community building, and you guess.

We will peel out each woman on the flier each day and share their work in 50 words on all Diversitypluss platforms, including the upcoming Diversity Magazine print.

To all the wonderful women out there, please keep doing the good work even if you do not make our list this time. Our sincere gratitude to all those who helped to put this list of amazing women together.

A very happy Women’s Day 2021!
