…..Hmmmmm another wonderful river valley that I can’t help but fall in love with….

It’s a bright new day here in the lovely city of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.

One place that I just can’t stop thinking about in the lovely city of Grande Prairie (GP) is the everything-nature in one place park – Muskoseepi Park, the Cree word for Bear.

This nature-rich and activity public park measures 405 hectares. For hikers, joggers and riders, the Muskoseepi Park is connected via a 20 kilometre network of paved and gravel trails, wooden foot bridges and some side streets.

The activity part of the park boost of an outdoor pool, picnic tables, sightseeing benches, picnic shelters, tennis courts, beach volleyball area, lawn bowling, large playground, skateboard park, horseshoe pits, a museum and a pavilion with a concession, change rooms, meeting rooms, and washrooms.

Another part of the park is endowed with a wilderness section of trees, wildlife like deer and moose. Drowned by the noise of birds, Crystal Lake is another part of the Muskoseepi Park that is popular for birdwatching such as the Trumpeter Swans.

In the perimeter of GP is the twin Saskatoon Lake and Little Lake with fantastic picnic sites and sports facilities for those who want to wander beyond the GP borders.

Indeed a Very Warm Welcome to Grande Prairie, the city of the Muskoseepi Park!
