The annual National Gathering for Indigenous Education Workshops was hosted this year in Edmonton at the magnificent Shaw Conference Centre. The four days workshop is focused on transforming education through reconciliation.
This annual gathering brings together educators and partners from across the country to share their experiences and strategies for educating K-12 Indigenous students.

On November 8, 2018, at the Shaw Conference Centre, Diversity Magazine caught with the Vice President of Indspire and she had this to say,

“…Indigenous young people are inspiring. They deserve the best when it comes to education. They deserve encouragement and support and they deserve to be part of the healing relationship this country needs to move forward…,”

Laura Arndt, Vice President of Education at Indspire.

Indspire is a national Indigenous-led registered charity that invests in the education of Indigenous people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families, communities, and Canada.
