Le 8 mars 2025, au Prince of Wales Armouries à Edmonton, s’est tenu l’événement “Célébrons les talents des femmes noires afro-descendantes et caribéennes” dans le cadre de la Journée Internationale des Femmes – Acte 5 organisé par Alliance Jeunesse et Famille de l’Alberta Society (AJFAS).
Cette célébration a été un moment unique dédié à l’hommage, la reconnaissance et la valorisation des réalisations et contributions des femmes noires dans la communauté. L’événement a mis en lumière leurs talents à travers des performances artistiques, des témoignages inspirants et des échanges enrichissants, créant ainsi un espace de célébration et de solidarité.
