Job Purpose:
The Director of Program Development and Accountability is responsible for leading innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively develop current and prospective programs at the Africa Centre. You will manage a team of program managers and coordinators to ensure successful program design, development, implementation, evaluation, and timely reporting. This role oversees all aspects of new and ongoing programs, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. Additionally, you will lead the Supporting Black Community Capacity Building Initiative (SBCCI).

This position works to understand community needs across a wide range of target audiences in order to excite residents to participate in a variety of indoor, outdoor and culture programs and services. An in-depth knowledge of print media, social media and other digital marketing tools and trends is required to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
