The Seniors in the Liberian community in Edmonton benefited from the generosity of the community as some basic items were distributed to their homes.
A project directed at the seniors still managed to reach out to other sick and newcomers in the community who needed the help. The Interim Community acting in place of the Board, supported by volunteers from the Liberian Community in Edmonton delivered to 30 families; rice, oil, hand wash, soap, toilette papers, and other useful stuffs.
While not yet running out of items, the community is already thinking of another round of deliveries to the needy as the pandemic continues.
