Mai Myers is an upcoming, fast flying singer originally from Liberia but raised in America. The song bird started singing at the the age of 5 and decided to pursue a career in music because of her deep passion for music.
Though she had been singing since she was only a kid, she got signed to a record label about three years ago and her musical career has been taking flight ever since. Her soulful, melodic voice is perfect for the Reggae, R&B and Afro-pop tunes which she croons.
Mai made a stop at Diversity Centre, in an Interview with Diversity Magazine, she shared this advice to her fans and to the public, to not let anyone dissuade you from doing whatever it is that you are passionate about and if you dream of doing something, just go for it and put your all into it. She currently lives in Arizona, U.S. She previously lived in Minneapolis.
The good news for her fans in Alberta though is that, she will be in Alberta thanks to the organization of Show Biz International Edmonton this week to perform hits from her latest album such as, “Control”. She will be performing in Edmonton at Star Night Club on 10586 & 109 Street on Saturday June 9th and she will be performing in Calgary on Friday June 8th, 2018.
