We sat down with Anne for Diversity 2025 Alberta Municipal Elections Special to hear straight from her—why she’s running and what drives her vision for Edmonton. Anne is passionate about creating a city that’s fair, inclusive, and responsive to everyone. With a background in international development and economics and a master’s in urban design, she combines big-picture thinking with practical solutions. After 10 years working and exploring abroad, Anne returned to her hometown of Edmonton in 2012, ready to give back. She spent seven years shaping the city’s future in the planning department, then focused on affordable housing with the Right at Home Housing Society, making sure all residents have a place to call home. Anne lives in Oliver with her partner and daughter—and she’s excited to continue representing Ward O-day’min, working for a city where everyone belongs. Anne est passionnée par la création d’une ville juste, inclusive et à l’écoute de tous. Avec une formation en développement international et en économie ainsi qu’une maîtrise en urbanisme, elle combine vision globale et solutions concrètes.
Après 10 ans de travail et de voyages à l’étranger, Anne est revenue dans sa ville natale d’Edmonton en 2012, prête à redonner à sa communauté. Elle a passé sept ans à façonner l’avenir de la ville dans le service de l’urbanisme, puis s’est concentrée sur le logement abordable avec la Right at Home Housing Society, afin que tous les résidents puissent avoir un foyer.
Anne vit à Oliver avec son partenaire et sa fille, et elle est impatiente de continuer à représenter le Ward O-day’min, pour une ville où chacun se sent chez soi.
