It was a day of cultural richness as one of Edmonton’s sons was celebrated for making the transition from Mr Keli Tamakloe, to His Royal Highness, TOGBI (KING) NYAHO TAMAKLOE VI.
Friends, family, community leaders, and many others touched by his time building community on the Edmonton Police Commission, managing multiple First Nations Reserves, or on the Africa Centre Board, came out to show their support to Togbi Nyaho Tamakloe VI, on October 8, in the Cascade room at the University of Alberta.
The event was spiced with traditional Ghanaian food, drumming, and dancing worthy of an African royal.
Diversity Magazine/TV Reporter, Lynsee Leahy, was there to share this amazing moment with you.
