“…Get out of your basement and go out there and represent Africa…,” a community leader told Regina 21 years ago after he found lots of grocery and other products in her basement.
Fast forward to 2020, the passionate and determined Regina has moved from her humble basement beginnings to four prime retail locations in Calgary with her African grocery stores, De-Chosen African Market; 6800 Memorial Dr E #116, 9667 MacLeod Trail SW, 1126- 12 Royal Vista Way NW, and 2914 – 103 Kingsview Blvd SE, Airdrie.
As an active member of the African community in Calgary, former executive of the Nigerian Association in Calgary, Regina and her husband also manage factories that make products sold in her stores, as well as, create jobs and opportunities for people back in her native Nigeria.
She dreams of taking De-Chosen to other cities, God willing. For more information about De-Chosen and its products, please go to www.dechosen.com
