Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi has won the Edmonton-Strathcona seat held by Rachel Notley, now becomes the Official Opposition Leader in the Alberta Legislature after about a year since winning the party leadership race.
The NDP held on to Edmonton-Ellerslie with Gurtej Singh Brar to maintain an orange Edmonton.

Naheed Nenshi, chef du NPD de l’Alberta, a remporté le siège d’Edmonton-Strathcona auparavant détenu par Rachel Notley. Il devient maintenant le chef de l’opposition officielle à l’Assemblée législative de l’Alberta, environ un an après avoir remporté la course à la direction du parti.
Le NPD conserve Edmonton-Ellerslie avec l’élection de Gurtej Singh Brar, maintenant garant d’un Edmonton toujours orange.
