It was a beautiful conclusion to the EMCN 2023 RISE Awards with the presentation of 11 awards to deserving recipients in eight categories at the Edmonton Convention Centre on October 13, in front of hundreds of supporting Edmontonians.
The Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers (EMCN) organized one of its biggest awards celebration after the COVID-19 pandemic to celebrate RISE Awards- Recognizing Immigrant Success in Edmonton (RISE).
