On  September 22, 2018, another organization, Chinatown and Area Business Association used colourful Chinese culture to brighten a dull wet day in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival at the Edmonton Korean Canadian Association Hall.

The event was rich in culture, spiced by numerous performances with some using traditional Chinese musical instruments such as “Erhu,” a two-stringed bowed musical instrument, sometimes know as the Chinese violin or a Chinese two-stringed fiddle. The Oriental Cultural Community Service Centre played “Erhu” for Diversity Magazine camera after their stage performance.

The Chair of the Chinatown and Area Business Association, Ming Huang, shared this with Diversity Magazine “…Mid-Autumn is a Chinese family re-union day…”.
