On February 21, 2018, at the Diversity Centre, a group of Wayfinders members approved their bylaws which will be send for registration by the government.
Couple of years ago, Randal Adcock developed Wayfinders, a Business Co-operative, as a means to solve the lack of access to management tools that many organizations face. This year, he brought in Leo Campos Aldunez and others to help take the organization to the next level. Randal and Leo made a stop at Diversity Centre to share their vision. The enterprise will be built on a cooperative business model. Organizations and businesses will have access to the knowledge, support, and guidance they need to take advantage of global economies of scale. The cooperative will offer training in, and the use of, the advanced management tools, methods and open data that make large corporations successful. One special initial module will
provide orientation to Canada for New Canadians.
“Wayfinders is in the early stages of development. We are forming a governance committee, meeting with potential stakeholders and creating focus groups so we can gauge the needs our members are likely to have,” Randal Adcock.
Randal Adcock has a Master of Arts degree in Community Development with ten years of experience as a business coach, fifteen years in economic development, and for five years he led a team at an early internet development venture.
Leo Campos Aldunez is trained in adult education and has worked for many years in communications, community development and public affairs.
