When The Melisizwe Meets The Sihle Sizwe – The Artist in Kids Comes Out…
This summer, the Sihle Sizwe Foundation partnered their interest in developing the artistic talents of kids, with the artistic and production experience and expertise of The Melisizwe Brothers, for a week long Gold Mind Summer Camp Music Showcase Program.
During the program, they developed young artistic talents by building their confidence, talents, and skills, to be whoever they want.
The newly born artists as a result of this partnership shared their talents on stage at the Gold Mind Summer Camp Music Showcase on July 19, 2024, at the John Bosco Building in Edmonton.
Within the week of the program, the kids also learned to play musical instruments like guitar, marimba, and piano.
It was so much fun for the kids and parents, as the kids were supported by their parents in the audience watching their children begin the journey of transitioning to a performance artist.
Kids interested in the program will continue to develop their musical talents through the award winning The Melisizwe Brothers mentorship.

Quand Les Melisizwe rencontrent Les Sihle Sizwe – L’artiste en Herbe Émerge…
Cet été, la Fondation Sihle Sizwe a associé son intérêt pour le développement des talents artistiques des enfants à l’expérience artistique et de production des Melisizwe Brothers pour un programme de showcase musical d’une semaine au camp d’été Gold Mind.
Pendant le programme, ils ont développé les jeunes talents artistiques en renforçant leur confiance, leurs talents et leurs compétences, pour qu’ils puissent devenir ce qu’ils veulent.
Les nouveaux artistes nés de ce partenariat ont partagé leurs talents sur scène lors du Gold Mind Summer Camp Music Showcase le 19 juillet 2024 au John Bosco Building à Edmonton.
Au cours de la semaine de programme, les enfants ont également appris à jouer d’instruments de musique comme la guitare, le marimba et le piano.
Ce fut un grand moment de plaisir pour les enfants et les parents, les enfants étant soutenus par leurs parents dans le public, regardant leurs enfants commencer leur transition vers des artistes de scène.
Les enfants intéressés par le programme continueront à développer leurs talents musicaux grâce au mentorat des Melisizwe Brothers, récompensés par de nombreux prix.
