Some kids dream of publishing their own books. We’re inviting talented kids and supportive parents who dare to dream of transforming their manuscript into books.
Diversity TV Host, Harriet Tinka, presented the first version of Africanival’s Young Writers Club on Diversity TV….
Love is the strongest force imaginable, an experience a young Edmonton girl learnt the hard way when she lost her cat, Benu.
Her passion for animals is epic. “When we walk in the trails, butterflies cling to her” – her mom said.
She named her cat Benu. This week, they found her cat by the garage in agony too intense to be borne. They rushed Benu the cat to the Veterinary (Vet). The Vet could not operate on him. Sadly, the Vet said someone had brutally kicked Benu’s stomach, as a result, damaged his intestines and kidneys. Surgery would not save him.
Aaliyah penned a letter to say goodbye to her lost pet that taught her how to love unconditionally. Any loss, whether it’s a pet or a loved one, is always heartbreaking.
Aaliyah was on Diversity TV to read some parts of her letter as part of our new monthly Segment, Young Writers Club

On our first stop on our last Community Engagement Tour in Edmonton for 2021, Mirabel, posing as the author, Alfie Thomas, joined Diversity TV Host, Emi, on the couch corner of the Diversity TV River Valley Studio in Edmonton, to share the story that every new dad, dad to be, or supporters of dads want to hear…
Being a dad is not a day’s job as it’s a 24/7 lifetime experience which comes with different challenges.
Alfie Thomas, the author of these two books will certainly help new dads, soon to be dads, or those supporting new dads to go through the experience of fatherhood with some theory in mind.
