New this year on Diversity Awards is a panel discussion. In addition to handing out awards and a keynote presentation, this year, Diversity Awards will be adding a panel discussion on recognition of foreign credentials and the respect and hiring of foreign trained professionals into Albertan industry, municipalities, communities, and universities.
Facilitated by a facilitator, five Panel participants will be drawn from government, industry, community, and education to educate participants, and a summary document, and recorded video will be put together to share with those who can not attend. Each participant will have 5 minutes to share their experiences and best practice, and the facilitator will take questions from the audience in an hour session.
