The Bakossi people, a Bantu ethnic group, hail from the western and eastern slopes of Mount Mwanenguba and Mount Kupe in the Bakossi Mountains of Cameroon. Their rich cultural heritage was on full display during the celebration, as BACDA members showcased traditional dances and rituals that echoed the rhythms of their homeland.
