As a dedicated mother of three adult sons, her journey led her to Edmonton approximately four years ago, where she found a fulfilling path working with the Alberta Avenue Business Association (AABA). Equipped with a diploma in Addictions Counselling, Heather aspires to transition into the role of an Addictions Support Worker within the Alberta Ave community. Her passion for her work is palpable, and she finds deep fulfillment in contributing to the diverse tapestry of Alberta Ave.
For Heather, International Women’s Day holds profound personal significance. It’s a day to celebrate self-love and take pride in one’s accomplishments, regardless of the profession. In her eyes, every job is valuable, and every woman deserves recognition for her contributions.

Heather Cameron est originaire de Saskatoon, SK, et se reconnaît fièrement comme étant d’origine crie de la Première Nation Beardys & Okemasis #96 & #97. Mère dévouée de trois fils adultes, son parcours l’a menée à Edmonton il y a environ quatre ans, où elle a trouvé une voie épanouissante en travaillant avec l’Association des Affaires de l’Avenue Alberta (AABA).
Diplômée en Counseling en Toxicomanie, Heather aspire à devenir Travaillante de Soutien en Toxicomanie au sein de la communauté d’Alberta Ave. Sa passion pour son travail est palpable, et elle trouve un profond épanouissement en contribuant à la riche diversité d’Alberta Ave.
Pour Heather, la Journée Internationale des Femmes revêt une profonde signification personnelle. C’est un jour pour célébrer l’amour de soi et être fier de ses accomplissements, quel que soit le métier.
