“… Mariana refuses the love from her partner…” beautiful sang by two talented Edmonton artists; Kija and Zeinab, who put political difference in their countries of origin, came together to do what they enjoy and do very well – singing.

When some of the sweetest voices, sharpest talents, and captivating skills, are not getting the support they need to get to a wider audience, and go to the next level, something has to be done.

On August 31, 2019, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Dennis Lissa and his team at the Sudanese Arts Foundation of Alberta organized an event call, Music Recital and Cultural Show. The event also saw the exhibition of visual arts from Edmonton artist, Emmanuel Bara. The group of artists, mostly multicultural in origin, appreciated the opportunity and look forward to many more to come.
